Kelly Rowe - Teacher

Throughout my various teaching years I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to a few different teaching techniques. I originally started teaching at a montessori-based centre. After curiosity struck I found myself seeking more knowledge and branched further into traditional teaching which lead me to a position in a reggio-inspired school. I believe that my experience has helped mould me into a teacher who strives to do her best and ignite the curiosity of little minds through play and exploration.
Our pre-kinder program follows the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care using student-centred, play-based experiences to enrich the children's learning.

I can't wait for our next adventure to begin at Beehives together!

Staff Profile

Estelle  O'Toole - Teacher Aide

I have a bachelor of nursing from UTAS but have worked as a teacher assistant for many years in a Reggio-inspired pre-kinder/kinder setting in QLD. I moved back to Tas to be closer and love on my growing tribe of nieces and nephews. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child, whether it is as an Auntie, friend, or even a teacher assistant. When I am not at Beehive I am busy painting art, reading books, drinking tea and of course my favourite is being an Auntie. While at Beehive I hope to inspire creativity, imagination, and a love of books. And I know I will be inspired by each child's view of the world as they see it. I am so excited to be a part of the Beehive team.
